President of Tehsil Organization ML Durgeshwar said that for the past several years we have been making the government aware of our demands through memorandums and agitations, but even today the situation remains the same. The main demand of pensioners is to get relief amount in the same manner and on the same due date as the Center, the arrears amount of 32 months, 27 months and 8 months of the old sixth and seventh pay commission, section 49 (6) of Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh Reorganization Act 2000 should be deleted/made ineffective. Instead of the additional pension which is available on completion of 80 years of age, 5 percent pension should be approved at the beginning of 65 years of retirement, 10 percent at 70 years of age, 15 percent at 75 years of age and 20 percent from the beginning of 80th year. In the memorandum, like the Central Government and other states, the pensioners of the state should also be given DR at the rate of 50 percent. The demands include implementation of Ayushman Yojana for the pensioners of the state, giving an additional increment to the employees retiring on 30 June and 32 December, giving lifelong third party family pension to unmarried daughters, widows, abandoned daughters to the pensioners of the state like the Center. Giving regular pay scale to the teachers of the Tribal Welfare Department from the date of appointment like the teachers of the School Education Department and paying the encashment of earned leave to all the teachers. Giving the benefit of Ayushman Yojana to the pensioners, they should be linked to this scheme. NPS should be abolished and the old pension scheme should be implemented. While submitting the above memorandum, all the officials and members of the Tehsil, Block of the Pensioners Association were present in the program. President M.L. Durgeshwar, L.N. Porwal, L.L. Nagauri, Kalusingh Solanki, Chandrakant Taylor, Udayveer Singh Parihar, Dilip Chauhan, Chandrashekhar Jain etc. The memorandum was read by Shri Durgeshwar and at the end, all the members were thanked.
